Re: Horrible Names For Horses

Is this thread not about everyone's opinion of a bad name...

What some love, others hate. I love Notacatbutallama. Many hate it. The reason behind the name doesnt matter.

Poor Carla. Unfortunately a tumour in the nasal cavity is a death sentence. They tend to be very aggressive and are usually inoperable.

I hope, too, that she stays healthy and strong at least for a little while longer. She deserves it.

I would say they are even right now. Their performances in the BC will determine it, I think.

Re: Siblings (and offspring) of well-known horses

Wednesday evening at Fairplex, Roundupthelute (Midnight Lute x. In Secure by AP INdy) broke his maiden very nicely in a minor stakes. He's a half to Millionreasonswhy, the graded SW filly who died in a training accident at Saratoga (I think) about a year ago. On pedigree query it says she was burie...

I was waiting for the In Memoriam thread to be restarted but here is as good as any.

To say I am heartbroken is not enough... Just devastated. I loved this boy.. And thought he was going to be John's next star... And a sprinter at that! A life cut way too short...

No racing questions for me either but I did have to activate the account by clicking on the link in my email.

I do miss the way the old forum looked. I'm having a hard time going through posts.

Damn those hackers. That site had so much on it...
