Re: Mac Diarmida (G2) & Very One Stakes (G3)

Inimitable Romanee and Graham Motion are quickly becoming my favorite horse and trainer. That is until another horse and trainer make me more money. lol

What a nice win. Paid 22.40 to win after winning at around 25-1 in her last.

Re: Dubai-bound 2014

Why did they change his name? They hate Greeks. lol. Guessing they paid a ton of money for him and figured if you pay that much you might as well give him a name you like. It will be odd if he comes back here and runs in the Breeders Cup. The Bloodhorse really should be referring to him by his new ...

Re: Road to the Derby Race of the Day

The west coast is coming alive. Today. Race 6 at Santa Anita. Richard Mandela has a first time starter named Simon Kenton. He is an Empire Maker out of an Old Trieste mare. Has some really nice works. He may be too late to join the party but we will see. http://www.brisnet.com/php/bw_pdf_viewer.php?...

Mcracehorsecall does deserve an award for consistency and humor. There is a certain creepy factor though that I can't get past.

Re: Larry Collmus CD Announcer

Is this a work or a shoot? If it's a work, it's a damn good one. He stays in character remarkably well. (BTW, "work" and "shoot" are professional wrestling terms -- "work" meaning staged, "shoot" meaning real.) You sure? I just figured he stopped posting today because he was captured and returned t...

Re: Copenhagen Zoo kills healthy young giraffe

Admin is right about one thing...humans are the most deadly species on Earth. We've caused extinctions, with more happening, polluted the air, rivers, lakes and oceans, destroyed rainforests, caused the desertification of vast swaths of formerly fertile lands, dug gaping holes and torn down hills f...

mc,better get a backup plan.If anyone that is hiring racetrack announcers gets to read what you've written on this message board, the closest you'll ever get to announcing a race is from sofa downs~ And Denman will be replaced far earlier than the 2030"s~ Are you trying to say I should be arrested a...

HRTV Pursuit of the Crown

These are very good and worth watching. I believe you don't even need an HRTV subscription to watch, although I think that subscription is worth every dollar.

He is on virtually the same course as Bodemeister. Bode's second race was 2/11. This horse 2/13.

Re: Matt's Interactive Derby Dozen Countdown

I look forward to the new flavor of the moment replacing the flavor of the moment from two weeks ago on Matt's list. My #1 hasn't changed from the first week. Does Dustino ever do a list or is counting to 10 too difficult for him? lol The fact that your lost changes means you are paying attention t...

Woohoo - love this guy... Mentioned elsewhere that I didn't know if they'd be able to get him to the Derby, but still thought he was one to watch...
He looks like he can run forever. He is Baffert's #1.

Another giraffe with same name to be killed?

http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/13/world/europe/denmark-zoo-giraffe/index.html?hpt=hp_t2 Jyllands Park Zoo said Thursday it may also have to "euthanize" one of its male giraffes -- coincidentally, also named Marius -- if a female is brought in to breed. Why is it that everyone here thinks you're the loser Chrissie? When Chris realizes he's getting hammered, he moves on to something else. What amazes me is that there are times he makes good sense, but most of the time he's one picture to the left of Neanderthal. The same reason why many in the 47% ...
