I'm very happy to see that La Busta was adopted. She seemed like she tried real hard, but just didn't have enough to be competitive on the track. I'm thinking that Joy's Grand Reward will go quickly . Love see the SA GR mares having babies, and very excited about the stakes race- can't we just have a heater? :D

One here for today:
Ed's Music http://www.equibase.com/static/entry/FL ... html#RACE5
We will see how this one does today. 10 1-0-0 $6,500

Good luck to our runner(s) today, and come home safe :D

It's almost post time and Zagnut (ARG) is the favorite for his race in Chile. Looks good in the warmup.

Today's SA results:

Grand Victory (ARG) won by 1 1/2!
Shirley Maclaine (CHI) was 12th.
Zagnut (ARG) was 2nd--broke from stall 15 a little slow, was sent for the lead, had to go wide around the turn, and couldn't match strides with the winner (who was carrying 3 less kg or 6.6 lbs) down the stretch
Iwa (ARG) was 7th (the winner, a gray named Illy, tried to do their best impression of a Lipizzaner in the winner's circle  )

None for tomorrow, but runners in a G1 on Saturday! :D

Nice, reminds me of daddy in the face. I like the idea of TT coming back on-line, they used to include the SA runners in their sire lists for stakes and money- I really don't know why BH doesn't do that.

Ed's Music was 6th- lead most of the way, and was just bum rushed in the end and could not hold on. Nice effort.

One here today
Grand Row http://www.equibase.com/static/entry/MN ... html#RACE2
Same as last out where this one did not show all that much, but tries for a better placement today. 34 4-0-5 $41,053

Good luck to our runner(s) today, and come home safe :D

http://www.equibase.com/static/chart/pd ... 13USA2.pdf
Classic Reward was 4th, picks up a $5k check.

5 here today, 2 in the same race
Fourseventeen and Louie Mondello http://www.equibase.com/static/entry/BE ... html#RACE8
First case, was forced wide in last out, and faces another large field today, but has a legit shot. 22 3-4-3 $105,533
Second case, 4th last out, thinking this one may have a better shot than odds would indicate. 15 2-1-2 $42,172
Gilligan! http://www.equibase.com/static/entry/FN ... html#RACE8
Has won the last three in a row, but goes to 1 1/4 today- has been at 1 1/16th for awhile now, and jumps up in class- but it any horse can do it, he can!
15 13-7-7 $239,583
W. B. Smudge http://www.equibase.com/static/entry/HA ... html#RACE6
Has a good enough chance here. 22 5-4-3 $110,069
Carolyn M http://www.equibase.com/static/entry/MN ... html#RACE9
Returns to a surface and distance that this one should do better than last time out (6th). 27 3-7-3 $86,933

Good luck to our runners today, and come home safe :D

Fourseventeen was second and Louie Mondello was 6th http://www.equibase.com/static/chart/pd ... 13USA8.pdf
Gilligan was 6th, back by 5- as I expected, the distance was a bit too much for him.
W. B. Smudge was second, best of the rest http://www.equibase.com/static/chart/pd ... 13USA6.pdf
Carolyn Mwas 5th, set early pace and folded.

None that I see for today.

Just looking over at ELturf and City Glam (ARG) Won! by 1 1/2, Ole Sole Mio (ARG) was 4th, looks like about 3 back.

If you go to the site- the news tab (click on the British flag to get the English version) , the story is there along with a video of the race.
