Pink Sands (Tapit o/o Her Smile) won the G3 Rampart.

Molto Bella (Violence o/o Dr. Zic) was ninth.
Pink Sands came flying late to win the Inside Information (G2) at GP. Kinda cool to see Shug win it.

Midcourt just won the Gr 3 Native Diver. He’s a son of Gr 1 winner Mayo On the Side. Glad to see Mayo’s last foal seems to be a good one since she passed last year. I had the pleasure of working with him as a foal.
Midcourt won the G2 San Pasqual.

About time he got a stakes winner on the board. I bet Lane's End are breathing a sigh of relief.

Off the board. But also pleased about Jehozacat in the Endeavour -- she's turning into a consistent and versatile mare.

Sam F. Davis winner Sole Volante is half to G3W Explode and his dam is half to Epsom Oaks winner Light Shift and Tattersalls Gold Cup winner Shiva.

Light Shift is of course the dam of Ulysses. Basically a big family.

Nice family. Wonder why they gelded him -- if he was just unruly or they didn't expect him to amount to much.

He sold for only $6K at Keeneland as a yearling, so he must not have had an impressive physical.

I had no idea that Starship Jubilee's second dam is nice 1990s turf mare Perfect Arc. I followed her offspring but was pretty disappointed and then she fell off my radar. I'm so glad to see a grandbaby with her talent.
