When Art was interviewed by TVG a few days ago, he said then that he would like to run the colt on grass...that he felt the way the horse moves might make him suited for the turf.
So, I wasn't shocked by the news...just happily surprised that he got the owners to agree to run CC before the end of the year...and for far less that that pie-in-the-sky $1 million figure they had mentioned. :D

I like when horses try new surfaces, and I'm glad they'll run him this year again.

If he really is one of the best 3 or 4 horses left running next year, this will broaden his races. Especially if they are really only interested in the very biggest races on next year's calendar..

If he likes the turf go for a DWC, Arc, BCC triple? ;)

Any horse that could do that would be...wow!

He sure makes it a good betting race as his odds should be about 25%, or less, what they should be.

It all comes down to who else is in it!

No, he'll pretty much be over bet no matter who's entered.

It might be a walkover!

Rest your case on this scenario.
If he is 1/9 vs four others GR2 and GR3 types and the filly,is he over bet?
Btw, i like the filly!!!

Way overbet.

The field will be solid. He will be way overbet...and he is unlikely to hit the board. These kinds of situations are a blessing for informed bettors. Lexie Lou has already shown that she is a mediocrity on turf. Mr Speaker will blow both of them off the racetrack. I assume he is pointing for that race. Shug has won it before with a Phipps runner.

You are ruining all the fun. I was hoping for 3 or 4 races before anyone caught on..................

Again, I repeat, there is nothing impressive about not betting a low favorite. You're acting like you're the first person to ever think of it.

Mr. Speaker has left a tremendous amount to be desired in almost every race I've seen of his. I love his family so I hope he does well, but if he does it's because the field is awful.

Chrome is not bred horribly for the turf. Not that I care much how he does.

Well, he did beat the Cox Plate winner...
