Winx
I try to explain it with an example. If you watch Frankels 2000 Guineas he just simply loved to run for the joy of it. If you watch his last start he was content to "get the job done". Winx likes to run obviously, but she would have to be really eager to get gunning right out of the gate, if she would race in the sprint.

Winx Crowned Champion Racehorse Again
http://www.thoroughbreddailynews.com/wi ... rse-again/Winx (Aus) (Street Cry {Ire}) was crowned Australia’s Champion Racehorse for the second year in a row during an awards ceremony at Brisbane on Sunday evening. The Chris Waller trainee won her 21st consecutive start, the G1 Turnbull S. at Flemington only on Oct. 7–and won all eight of her races during the 2016/2017 campaign, among them a second G1 Cox Plate and the G1 Queen Elizabeth S. in April. Also named the Magic Millions Champion Middle Distance champion, the 6-year-old mare is currently eyeing a third Cox plate on Oct. 28. Chris Waller was honoured with The Bart Cummings Award as the leading Group 1-winning trainer for the previous season and Winx’s regular reignsman Hugh Bowman won the Champion Group 1 Jockey Award.

I think you're safe. TVG's live racing slot goes until 12:30 AM Pacific, plus they've been promoting Winx's quest for her third Cox Plate.

Australian Turf Club set to rename the Warwick Stakes, the Winx Stakes
http://www.smh.com.au/sport/horseracing ... z82v2.htmlThe Australian Turf Club is set to change the Warwick Stakes to the Winx Stakes to honour the wonder mare when it is run as a group 1 for the first time next year.
As part of her 21-race winning streak, Winx has won the Warwick Stakes to begin her spring campaign for the past two years and it was seen by the ATC as the ideal race to honour her as she had played a major role in it becoming a group 1.
Winx will be afforded the rare honour of having a race named after her while still racing, as Black Caviar did when the Victoria Racing Club changed the Lightning Stakes to Black Caviar Lightning.
The Warwick Stakes is run in August and was boosted to group 1 level after Winx overcame missing the start by five lengths to win it for the second consecutive time this year.

I am so excited about this race.
Did you see her roll in the sand on her twitter page? OMG, Haskins would be in heaven, looking at those dapples.
What a specimen!
What a phenomena.
I am really hoping she pulls off her 3rd Cox Plate.
(arrogate who?
)
2nd post down, roll in the sand, absolutely gorgeous

How cute. Every horse needs their own sandbox.

WOOHOOOO!!!!
Winx wins her third Cox Plate!
Nice try by Humidor, who was peeling ground off her at the end, but The Queen kept in front, winning by a good half length. And she did it from the far outside, running farther than anyone else.

The connections have expressed interest in running her at Royal Ascot, but so much can happen between now and next June. She's six and will be about to turn seven (on Southern Hemisphere time) when the Royal meeting rolls around...and there's always the possibility that her 'I want to be a mommy' alarm goes off by then.
