Even if Justify does win the Preakness tomorrow, I'll have no high expectations for him winning Belmont. I don't want to bet on him but I don't want to bet against him.

I rooted for Silver Charm, Real Quiet, and Smarty Jones who I didn't even like. I didn't for War Emblem and Funny Cide. Felt indifferent with Big Brown. I was sad when I'll Have Another got injured before Belmont.

I was all-in with California Chrome and then we saw him lose as well as Coburn's composure. Then a year later, there was a poll for American Pharoah here and most didn't think he would win the TC including myself and he did!

Better off with no high expectations. He might surpass my expectations like Infinity War did for me. I honestly thought it was going to be another Age of Ultron letdown but it's the best MCU film ever.

I'm just going to be so relaxed when watching the Preakness and perhaps the Belmont. American Pharoah already won the Triple Crown three years ago, so where's the pressure? Where's the long drought? Whatever Justify does after ending a 136-year old drought is all gravy for me...
Rock Hard Ten. Free House. Soul Of The Matter. Lit de Justice. Zenyatta. Justify. Cigar. Ghostzapper. Lava Man. Silver Charm.

It's starting to get dark at Pimlico, as the 14th race is about to load. The TVG guys pointed out that the Preakness is scheduled to be run even an hour later tomorrow...and there are no lights at Pimlico. :?
Maybe it's just me, but that seems rather stupid.

I have post time at 6:48EST. It's light out here now.

Maybe the rain was just coming in?

Same plenty of light up here and it's 7 pm here, and I'm even further north, I'd suspect clouds probably played a factor.

I'm sure the rain clouds made it darker, but isn't it supposed to be the same sort of weather tomorrow?
I hope you guys are right and I'm just stressing about something that will be no problem at all.

It would probably be little like '15 was. It's cloudy AF here and it's a little dark but it'll be good.

Hopefully by this time tomorrow we are all discussing a TC attempt.

Quick question as I don't past Kentucky Derby and Preakness races that well. Is this the first time the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness has been back to back muddy?

Thanks! :)

I’m rooting for Good Magic. I want an upset, Baffert bores me.

If Justify was truly exhausted and still no one could reel him in, what does that say about those who finished behind him?
Each horse is different, and I bet a lot of them didn’t run as hard as he did. They aren’t all exhausted at the same time. Also, if he were exhausted, who could blame him - he’s done a lot in a short while.
