I'm getting a little worried. TVG hasn't shown any promos for the Caulfield Cup and none of the talent have discussed their betting choices for tonight's races from Caulfield. :?
Is it possible that TVG can't show racing from Caulfield?
I now remember that last week TVG was all over The Everest at Randwick, but never showed the same day's stakes from Caulfield.
Is Australia like the US, where certain tracks (like CDI-owned here) don't share their simulcast signal with certain racing broadcasters?
Phooey. I was really looking forward to seeing the race. :(
Yes you are right, I didn't realise this, you can watch live Melbourne racing on racing.com

Ranier got his win in that race (R2 Caulfield) beating home everyone but the loose horse. Hughie was a good boy this time.

Thanks SP, but IIRC you have to be a TVG customer to access their live streaming.
Even if I were a customer, my internet speed doesn't make watching live racing very easy.

They called the Coongy Cup a dead heat between the favorite Best of Days and Mask Of Time...don't think it's final yet...inquiry maybe. The Dubai link is better than TVG.

I love that the Dubai link had the stewards' room discussion live. Wish they'd do that here, very interesting.

A public holiday racemeeting in New Zealand today includes the G2 James and Annie Sarten Memorial Stakes for 3yos at Te Rapa. Early season for the 3yos but this is a race that is a great form race for the G1 2000 Guineas next month and even the Derby next March!

    Past winners include:
Ugo Foscolo next start G1 winner
Serena Miss next start G1 placegetter (against males)
Bounding Won G1 against older horses (as a 3yoF) 2 months later now at stud in USA
Sacred Falls next start G1 winner
We Can Say It Now won a G1 against older horses 6 weeks later
Katie Lee the only 3yoF to win the G1 2000 Guineas and the G1 1000 Guineas 7 days later

Details on the 2018 race can be found here

Wow, so THIS is why I've been seeing Cliffs of Moher's name destructed in various articles! Ridiculous.

As if anybody is going to confuse an unraced to year old or 20-start maiden with a multiple Gr.I competitor.
