I ran marathons. I saw the Taj Mahal by Moonlight. I drove Highway 1 in a convertible. I petted Zenyatta.

Thunder Snow second in return; Kentucky Oaks candidate Divine Image thrashes boys in Dubai
Thunder Snow was in a good stalking spot early, and advanced turning for home, but couldn’t lift any further in the about 1 1/4-mile affair. As Capezzano put the race away in the stretch, Thunder Snow dropped 9 1/2 lengths back, just salvaging second by a neck from South Korea’s hard-charging Dolkong. Considering how well he traveled before understandably getting tired, Thunder Snow stands to benefit a lot from this prep for his World Cup title defense on March 30.

Gronkowski, a new stablemate of Capezzano’s, made late headway in fifth. That was a useful effort in his debut for bin Ghadayer, and he’s likely World Cup-bound as well.

Remember this guy? Ramsey's International Star had his first race (AOC) yesterday since 5/5/2017 and finished last in a field of 9 at Gulfstream. He's a 2012 H MGSW.

Saw that. Hope that was just a long-time-away-needed-a-start kind of race...
Nice to see the winner back!

I'm okay with older horses racing. I'm not keen on a horse being brought back after being off for nearly 2 years. He hasn't won a race since January of 2016. He must be incredibly unsound. Two different 8 month layoffs and another that was almost 2 years.

I hope he stays healthy. I've kill to see him in the Met Mile. It doesn't look like he'd have a problem getting that although you never know.
Mitole is not going to Dubai (DRF) - no foot, no horse.

Anyone else a fan of this horse? I love that he is so formidable on both turf and dirt.

He just never got faster from his 2yr old year. With nothing but a maiden win and an allowance win in 11 starts he probably doesn't have much of a stallion career ahead even with that pedigree. Maybe a regional stallion at best. That DQ as a 2yr old really hurt him.

Well, Coolmore owns him in conjunction with Zayat, and when he took time off he stayed at Ashford.

Remember Derby fourth-place finisher Instilled Regard? He was beaten by a neck going a mile on the grass at Keeneland yesterday.
