So, did Imperative earn his retirement today, or do they give him one more shot at something?

WarBiscuit
Well, off at 88/1 odds he ran 7th.
Some might note there were only 7 horses in the race.
But he did pick up a participation check for $25,000.

So, maybe yes, maybe no, only Paolucci knows for sure.
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

I really liked the feature that Fox Sports did on the life of Marylou Whitney. I was disappointed that NBC did not do something similar in their coverage.

Thunder Snow, scratched from Whitney, jogged this a.m. on main track, will stay here and point to G1 Woodward on 8/31, per Saeed bin Suroor

Kind of worried about Preservationist- never changed leads and looked exhausted and stiff towards end of race, kind of weaving a bit. Hope just exhaustion and not a flare up of his past foot and ankle problems.
