Preservationist Prevails in Woodward Stakes
Son of Arch finished fourth last out in Whitney Stakes (G1).
Centennial Farms' Preservationist proved a formidable opponent Aug. 31, cutting a path between horses in deep stretch to take the $750,000 Woodward Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets (G1) at Saratoga Race Course.
Bal Harbour took second ahead of last year's Woodward victor, Yoshida, who rallied late to get up for third.
