Fillies are doing well against the boys today.

Will this trend pass over onto the dirt later?
My guess is no.

In a race that looked impossible, I think the first five favorites came in 2-1-4-5-3. Who needs machine learning when you have parimutuel betting?

Here's to the Empress in the next, show them from the front! ;)

I shouldn't be but I'm really just so sick of this Sol Kumin.

The last comment sure didn't help.

He seems to have a good eye, but that "females" comment... ugh.

I'm away from the TV (computer in different room), so I missed Kumin's crack. Anyone have the complete quote?

Is there any horse that idiot doesn't own a part of?

Asked why he has so much success with female horses, he said something like "well, I do like the females."

I think MB is vulnerable here and I have since her last. She does look good right now though... visually.

Does she continue her pattern of big figure, regression, big figure? If she gets a big figure she wins. If she runs back slightly less I'm all over Blue Prize and Secret Spice.

Even with everything going her way I don't think Seregenti Empress is good enough.

Well, that's rather old-fashioned crassness.
Not cute, Kumin.

Well Nick Luck also used the word females when he asked his question, it was something like ‘why do you do so well with the females?’

Not necessarily defending the comment though

I think Bisou's last big figure was trip-aided, so it's anyone's guess. It'd be great to see her win but I do think she's highly vulnerable today. All over Dunbar Road and Serengeti Empress with a bit of Ollie's Candy. I just want the Empress to get a nice trip for once in her career...

I'm cool with it being used to describe animals, but I think it was mostly the way he said it. Everyone in the room said "ew" simultaneously lol.

Oh wow, just noticed the odds on Paradise Woods. What's going on there? Ollie's Candy is shorter than her...

The mile was an exciting race! Love the thrills when a filly and an older mare of certain talent square off like this!

Also re: Kumin... I know the question asked was with the term females but he could've just as easily responded "well, I do love the ladies"
A filly named Ruffian...

Eine Stute namens Danedream...

Une pouliche se nommant Trêve...

Kincsem nevű kanca...

And a Queen named Beholder
