Greg Tramontin has purchased a half interest in undefeated Louisiana-bred 3-year-old No Parole from owner Maggi Moss. No Parole will stay in the barn of trainer Tom Amoss, who said there's not yet a set plan for the colt's next start.

No Parole, by Violence out of Plus One, by Bluegrass Cat, only has raced in statebred-restricted competition but has crushes his rivals in three starts, winning a Fair Grounds maiden sprint by 14 1/4 lengths, a Fair Grounds sprint allowance by 13 1/2 lengths, and the Premier Prince on Feb. 8 at Delta Downs by 6 1/2 lengths.

I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Kadesh (Karakontie) just blew them back in Santa Anita's Race 1 on dirt.

He broke his maiden in his fifth start.

Maxfield is the 3YO I'm waiting the most to race next. He is born on 2/17/2017. The day I bought my LG G5 but shares the same birthday as my eldest cousin, Spectacular Bid, Michael Jordan, and Paris Hilton. My eldest cousin and The Bid share the same exact birthday, 2/17/1976, just like I have another cousin who shares the same exact birthday with Easy Goer, 3/21/1986.

I am actually way more excited about the three-year-old fillies this Saturday on account of the Davona Dale (G2), which features:

Tonalist's Shape -- undefeated in 4 starts
Spice Is Nice -- Million-dollar yearling who won her debut by 12
Bayerness -- undefeated in 2 starts
Nikki and Papa -- solid third in the Forward Gal (G2) in her only start
Dream Marie -- winner of her last 3 starts

Who do you like? You could make a strong case for several.
