These old timers had some problems in their most recent races - if anyone would happen to know of their status, please post.

10yo Mr. Cacht - vanned off in Race 8 at Turf Paradise - 4/23/14

10yo Dynamic Dino - fell after the wire, but walked off, Race 7 at CharlesTown - 4/10/14

10yo San Saba - quit, eased and walked off in Race 8 at Will Rogers Downs - 4/14/14

12yo Porfido is entered in the Hasta La Vista Handicap at Turf Paradise today (5/4/14). Also entered is
Tamarack Smarty, another one time California staple - now calls Turf Paradise home.

Visiting the winners circle this past week were:

10yo We Got Da Feva at Sunray Park (4/29/14) with 10yo Canard 2nd

10yo Two Turns (Mutakddim) at Turf Paradise (4/30/14)

And at Beulah Parks finale yesterday (5/3/14), two 10yo's, Dance World and Auroras Secret finished 2nd and 3rd
in Race 5...

Porfido finished 3rd in the Hasta La Vista at TP - a slight improvement over his 4th place finish in
the Wildcat Handicap a month ago. Headed in the right direction...

In his 90th start, 8yo Run Smart One deadheated for the win (and survived a claim of foul) at Calder. He is having a good year: 6-2-1-2.

10yo MSW and millionaire race mare Pay The Man (Bernstein - Pyrite Captain) was a winner at Thistledown on Sunday (5/4/14)
and now boasting a 72 - 27-11-8 record and $1,048,011 in earnings.

11yo Tanya's Toad (MSW) wired the field for his 19th win from 61 starts at Sun Downs on Sunday. Has hit the board in all but one race
during the past two years.

10yo Estimator was a winner today (5/6/14) at Finger Lakes in a $5,000 claimer, with 11yo Barco right behind him...

Will Rogers Downs and remains undefeated in 2014. 40 - 18-5-1, $278,729.

9yo Drunken Love (Whiskey Wisdom - No Sugar Tonight by Schossberg) won his third race in a row yesterday at Pimlico. It was his 23rd win in 54 starts. Drunken Love's total earnings now stands at $737,440.

15yo Star of Rome (Risen Roman - Star Spangle, by Stalwart) with a monumental record
of 136 - 15-20-28, and $245,439 in earnings, began working out this week at Finger Lakes in preparation for
his 12th season of racing. He began his career at age 4. Not too many get to this age on the track, and we'll
watch him ever so closely...

I think connex have been told he can't run because of his age. Will check again.

In addition to River Echo, mentioned above by Miss Woodford, older winners this week include:

12yo mare Missing Sefa, 1st at the new Belterra Park (5/10/14) and winning her 28th career race. Her next start will be
her 100th.

10yo Scatter Shot won his 10th race from 90 starts - also at Belterra (5/9/14).

10yo Wajir On Me won his 16th race from 97 starts, at Louisiana Downs, and pushing his earnings to over a quarter million.
This was his 8th start of 2014.

I didn't realize Love to the Max was plying his wares in New Jersey now. He's been a Charles Town horse for most of his career.

10yo All Western, made his 134th start and won his 20th race at Camarero on 5/14/14. Going for his third consecutive
win this Thursday (5/22/14).

10yo Dance World won at Belterra Park yesterday (5/18/14) and has won or placed in five of seven starts in 2014.
79 - 22-11-12, $117,170.

Looks like Star of Rome has shifted his operations to Presque Isle Downs. Different policy for olders runners there?
Just hope that they are careful with him - he is ancient - and with 136 races under his belt, he has probably done more than enough...

I just discovered this thread and love it! what a contrast to the Graded stakes runners who run for a year or two then are retired. I love seeing these horses still competing after many years and starts! Thanks to everyone for posting
