Today I discovered
Gran Blanco (Rakeen x Perakeen), a spotty-white colt (now gelding I assume) who was bred and foaled in South Africa. Gran Blanco (Great White in Spanish, of course) is special in that he wasn't bred for his color; he just popped out like this. He is also the first, and so far only, white thoroughbred born in South Africa. He has a very workmanlike face.
Apparently he was neglected by those who purchased him at the sales as a yearling and had to be rescued; the article isn't very clear, and the situation is vague.

Racing didn't work out for him, but he's found his niche in eventing and is doing very well as of 2019. His owners, who I assume purchased him after the rescue, already had his OTTB career planned.
