I'm truly impressed that they sit so kindly and patiently with their little costumes! How long does it take them to destroy them once the shutter clicks? :D

They're very precious.
Not a wholesome trottin' race, no, but a race where they sit down right on the horse!
Like to see some stuck-up jockey boy sittin' on Dan Patch? Make your blood boil? Well, I should say!

I'm so sorry to hear that, Bal. I know how well-loved your dogs are.
This thread started in 2013, so Tuffy couldn't have been much more than 7 or 8 years old. Too young. :(
I hope Joey is doing OK without his sister around. Extra hugs for him (and you) now, from all of us.

Joey was not doing well coping with the loss of his sister. It happened so quickly. She got sick on a Wednesday, and we lost her the following Monday. Tough dealing with this tragedy. Their breeder offered a lovely 4-1/2 year old female in need of a spoiling home. We drove out to Kentucky last week and picked her up. She is a delight. Joey is doing better but taking his time accepting her as a replacement - not like there could ever be a replacement. Just helping to fill the void. Her name is Miss Goody Two Shoes, and she is a grand champion.

Thank you for your condolences.

All is well. We're at Saratoga getting ready to go to the track. I just have this gut feeling about Preservationist :-)

So sorry for your loss, Bal.

The rescue that I foster for recently adopted out a Ridgeback mix. I saw him and thought of you and the little darlings.
