Looked bad for both horses, and I'm still waiting for TVG to update us on horses and riders...although I did hear that one of the jocks was up and walking.
Bob Consultation, involved in spill in Friday's 1st, was walked to barn. Claim on him was voided because of spill, stewards said. #hollypark

Trainer Jack Carava reports that Bob Consultation "seems fine. It looks like he avoided serious injury" in Friday 1st race spill. #hollypark

Rocky Barboa, who broke down in Friday's 1st, was euthanized, track officials said. The 3yo gelding had 1 win in 7 starts. #hollypark

Good news on Bob Consultation. The view of the spill was so quick and both horses were in such a tangle...maybe it was Rocky that I saw getting up. It sure looked like a front leg was bent where it shouldn't bend.

Arbuckle Road brokedown in R1 and Shoe Freak Marlene brokedown in R5 at Beulah yesterday before the card was cancelled due to track conditions...

Shoe Freak Marlene unseated the rider and kept running loose and Arbuckle Road wouldn't pull up, jockey really struggled

Shoe Freak Marlene sounds familiar to me for some reason, cant quite place this one. Earned over $200K.

Hope they are ok.

Wish these tracks would get better at evaluating conditions and not need to wait until they had two breakdowns to concede the point and cancel.

Was someone here wondering where Jaycito is?
Well, he just ran 4th in the 10th at Sunland Park, a $40,000 AOC. I hope the next time I read about him, it's in the Retirement thread. :(

May they both RIP. That day likely should have gotten canceled from the get go.

Fit To Rule(4yo colt by Hard Spun), Race 9 Hollywood Park. Saturday 12/21/213

Announcer said he was out of the race. Didn't see what happened on TV so not sure if an equipment issue or if injured. He was far behind from the very start of the race. Seems he DNF.

I could see him dropping back through the field until the TV lost sight of him. It didn't seem like he was in extreme distress, or that the rider was fighting to pull him up ASAP. Let's hope that means good news in the long run.

Vet list will be out tomorrow. If this one is on, then it may be just an injury.

My Wahoo collapsed after winning R3 at Fairgrounds. DRF Twitter reports waiting for stewards to confirm reports he died.

Marcus Hersh just confirmed that My Wahoo collapsed and died before being unsaddled. Stewards called it a heart attack, but that's what they call any sudden death on track.

I wonder what kind of issues they may have been experiencing with My Wahoo? It appears that he had not raced for almost a year until a few weeks ago.
Also noted that he did not finish a race at Churchill (eased and stopped) in 2011, which may mean little here - just a few red flags are popping up...
