Whatever happened to Pepper's Pride's 3yo? He won his maiden impressively and then poofed. Is he injured?

From what I can find, he was being pointed to the San Vincente but got cast in his stall in late January. It was reported he wasn't hurt but he didn't work again until April 9th and nothing since.

I know this is a really old question and it may have been answered already but I missed it. Been doing some VS cleanup, went searching, and found this Stallion List dated 8/22/17. Looks like Punctuate (Distorted Humor - Peppers Pride, by Desert God) is standing in New Mexico.

I'm glad he's found a home in New Mexico, where his mom had her unbeaten streak. He seemed to show some talent, but maybe he had physical issues after that which kept him from racing again.
Here's hoping he becomes a very successful regional sire.

I actually asked Bob Baffert himself why Punctuate never raced again in Feburary this year after Marley's Freedom's win.

Baffert was happy to answer my question and said "Punctuate hurt his hock after his maiden win and never recovered from that injury. He was sold as a stallion after struggling to get him back into the races. He is now standing in New Mexico."

Hence why Punctuate rarely made some workouts after his maiden win.
