RIP, pretty girl. My deepest condolences to her human family, her fans, to all who loved her.
Lymphoma. Poor girl. Love the Sea the Stars and it is tragic to lose one of his talented off spring. My sympathies to all her connections.

Chiropractor homebred G1 winner by Kitten’s Joy out of Eversmile. 2/25/12-9/4/19. He gave us a huge thrill at Del Mar and we all miss him at GHF, he was always the friendliest horse to go say hi to at the farm.

He does look like a nice fellow. He was only seven, so I wonder if colic got another good horse. :(

Top South American Sire Luhuk Dies at Age 28
Luhuk's most familiar runner for U.S. observers was Calidoscopio, who was a Group 1 winner in his native Argentina, then came stateside to win the 2012 Breeders' Cup Marathon at Santa Anita Park and G2 Brooklyn Handicap, both in his signature extra-deep closing style.

Oh no.
I was a huge fan when she was racing, and stated (on another forum) that IMHO she deserved to be served by the finest Kentucky blue blood stallions when she retired. And she was.
I don't care that she raced in limited company; if what she did was so easy, then there should be dozens of state-bred runners out there who have 19-for-19 records. She was sound, competitive and had the heart and mind to race so successfully for those four years. Bless her owners for taking such good care of her.
I hope her AP and 'Chrome babies are great runners.

I can only echo what Baroque has said above. RIP Peppers Pride.

I was very sad and sorry to read of the passing of the great Peppers Pride - from that miserable horrible laminitis - just awful - this mare is and always will be a champ in my eyes - she went out there to compete every time - no matter who you are racing against, that is quite admirable - had nothing but respect and love for this pretty girl - I am so sorry she went too soon - rest in peace lovely brave girl - you will not be forgotten.

Article didn't mention it but she was bred to Mshawish this year. Wonder if she got in foal.

Remember her riding at Thistledown, seeing her when I was young. Rest easy, Ms. White.
