MG2W, ran in 2015 Kentucky Derby.

I remember he was knocked out of racing due to injury a year ago last month.

Blood Horse article says "Trainer Carla Gaines said Jan. 3 that the 6-year-old son of Temple City will get at least 90 days off from training and will be reevaluated after that time. She did not specify the injury..."

Sort of sad that they gelded him. Wonder if they figured he'd take away mares from Temple City.

I'm also disappointed that apparently no one was interested in standing him. He was a good race horse, very handsome and IMO one of Temple City's best sons. I worry sometimes about Dynaformer's line. :(

So do I. There's fewer and fewer Robertos around :-(

For some reason, I am imagining Point of Entry saying (in his best George Lopez imitation), "I GOT THIS!"

LOL... But, BUT - doesn't Temple City gave more high earners than POE?

At this point, but Temple City has his 6th crop of 2YOs this year. PoE's first crop is just 4 in 2019.

Ran today at SA R7 on the turf as a first time gelding. Led the field into the stretch but was caught by several before the wire. I thought he looked good, tho.
