And he looks stunning in every shot. His rider will be the envy of the other pony riders.

Anyone know what happened to top event rider Boyd Martin at Plantation Fields today? He had a fall and all of his horses were withdrawn. Praying he is ok! No news on Eventing Nation or Twitter or Facebook.

Thank you to everyone's concern for Boyd. He did take a good knock on the right leg and his head, but he is going to be fine. Thankfully NOTHING broken and he's in good spirits. We're just going to force him to rest tonight!! He'll bounce back quickly.......
Glad he will be okay.

The Coach hard at work. He LOVES Mrs. Fields cookies, and "asks" for them occasionaly on FB. There is a video on Youtube of him helping himself to the feed bin, and he taught another horse to do it as well- cant remember who that was.

Found it-

I really liked him as a 3 yo and found it such a shame when he got injured. He had so much talent. So nice to read an update about him and that he is in good hands!

Nobody's mentioned Best Pal? Didn't he become a training partner/trainer's horse?

Overdriven was pensioned from stud duty by Repole and was adopted through New Vocations. So was American Lion, a MG3W who ran in the Kentucky Derby.

Interpol is now a stable pony for Doug O'Neil.

Derby Competitor And Rider Who Overcame Heart Issues Pair Up In Quest For Championship
Rider Maddy Cracknell had two open-heart surgeries before she was 10 years old; now 15, she most likely will have another open-heart surgery this year to correct ongoing issues with her heart.

But heart problems aren't at the forefront of Maddy's mind this summer: Competing in the Beginner Novice division at the American Eventing Championships is. Maddy will ride her off-track Thoroughbred Commanding Curve during the event, which is held at the Kentucky Horse Park August 27 through September 1.

This is a great topic!

Didn't read it all the way thru yet, but my contribution would be Mr. Hot Stuff.

Gawd, he was one gorgeous hunk o' horse when he ran in the KY Derby and was my longshot. Turns out he's not a flat racer
