The Korean equivalent of the Breeders' Cup (I believe) is this weekend, and it has attracted quite a bit of contingent from abroad, just like last year.

USA Poised for Success at Keeneland Korea Cup and Sprint

This Saturday night, Sept. 8th, marks the 2018 Korea Autumn Racing Carnival and the latest chapter in Korea's drive to position itself as the next horse racing superpower. This year's edition is poised to be biggest and most geographically diverse to date, with nine different countries represented across the two main features. Fans in the United States could have an especially exciting evening ahead of them as Chublicious, the only entrant both bred and trained in the USA, has a strong chance for a podium finish in the night's main event.

Notable foreign-based contingent for the 3rd Annual Autumn Racing Carnival includes~

Chublicious, a GSW who is contesting the Korea Sprint for the United States. The New Jersey Champion gelding by Hey Chub is trained by David Cannizzo.

Wild Dude, a Gr.I winner representing the UAE and USA.

Moanin, a Gr.I winner contesting the Sprint for Japan.

London Town, who won the 2017 Korea Cup for Japan is defending his title.

Ennobled Friend, a MGSP runner for the UAE in the Cup.

There are also several U.S.-bred runners, sired by To Honor and Serve, Lemon Drop Kid, Malibu Moon, More Than Ready, and First Defence.

Thanks for posting! It's always great to see pics for these events.

I must say though...the rider on Chublicious might want to reconsider the color of some of his attire...

Ennobled Friend scratched from the Korea Cup. He is not injured, just needs "some rest".

I always enjoy seeing Afleet Alex's offspring do well so I'll be sure to keep up with Dolkong.
