That's her first turf start correct?

Guarana wins the CCA Oaks (G1), leading all the way. Once she got the half in 49.49 and 6 furlongs in 1:13.58, the race was pretty much over.

Anyone know where Chasing Yesterday has been? I don't think she has worked since before the SA Oaks.

She's back at Summer Wind taking a break.

Emma’s newest filly is by Tapit, making her a full-sister to Lyon’s other pride and joy, Chasing Yesterday, who was the first top-level scorer to carry the Summer Wind colors. Lyon takes me to meet the 3-year-old filly, who was back at her birthplace for a break from training. It is clear `Yesterday,’ named in honor of Lyon’s late husband, shares her mother’s sweet disposition. Just one week after arriving from Santa Anita, the filly stands quietly as Lyon hugs her neck, happily accepting treats and attention.

Trainer Brad Cox on Monomoy Girl:
“She's doing well,” he said. “She's really close to getting back to the work tab. I don't have a date picked out, but she's been training extremely well. She's been very aggressive in her gallops, which is exactly what we want to see out of her right now. Everything's positive.”

I thought it was a very decent field and a good race. Not You vs Carson Hollow -great, but still a very exciting race. Both of the top two were very impressive but I think Bellafina has been exposed as a bit of a fraud. Not that I would mind owning her, but it makes you wonder who she's really been beating out west.

Concrete Rose is out the rest of the year with a hairline fracture. She should return in 2020.

Anyone heard any news on Out For A Spin, winner of this year's Ashland Stakes? Have not heard anything since the Kentucky Oaks.

Would be sort of shocked to see her back in training. Baffert found her a Grade 1 she could handle, but she really hasn't look like a progressive horse since then so I doubt she will be sent looking for another one when her value as a broodmare is already set.
