But IIRC he also was slated to call at Oaklawn Park starting with their next meet. Will he be able to work there AND be a full-time caller at Los Al? :?
What happened to the Goof?

Pretty certain Vic is still the Oaklawn guy.
In the off season he's quite the tournament player and I think he's dipping his toes back in the jock agent business, Tyler Baze?
I've found it easier to tear up tickets at 8/1 instead of 8/5.

Curious, with the final days of Eddie B's tenure ending behind the mic at LosAl and Michael Wrona being named the heir in waiting....
Has anybody here ever heard Wrona call a quarterhorse race?

The reason I ask is because my memory of Wrona's brilliance is that of a storyteller during a race with a few well timed quips thrown in along the way. Not sure how he'll do in 17 seconds from beginning to end.

I have - at least via livestream from Turf Paradise and Arizona Downs. QH and TB race calls (good ones) require a different set of skills, to be sure, but have no fear - Mr. Wrona has mastered both. "Racing" - and then shorter stories, fewer quips. :)

Maybe SA and Los Al should trade so we can see how many voices Frank can get in during a 300 yd. race.
