I've never liked the name Hoof Hearted. I've always wondered how that name was ever accepted by the Jockey Club.
Not sure why it should be rejected - it’s a play in the term “half-hearted”

No, its so when the announcer calls the race it sounds like they are saying Who Farted.

Certain people don't care for "the D-word" wherever it turns up, I guess.

Ran across an article on how Hoppertunity got his name. His name before it was changed was terrible. Also the article says Baffert convinced Aaron and Marie Jones not to name Forestry, Seneca MJ.

Warthog’s not so bad. Both the critter and military attack aircraft are badasses.
Sad to say that Warthog was fatally injured at Cheltenham today.

Little Hitler!
Racing history is full of unfortunate, offensive names, but most are from a far different era. How this one made it through the QH naming authorities in 1971 is beyond me.

i guess if you really love chicken liver it's ok but "Sam's Chicken Liver" sounded like a good candidate for this thread. whatever floats your boat...

also i guess we're only going for current horses, not any from the past, but it's too late for me to go back and delete my submission! x2

I don't think there's any rules about the dates of names.

If I'm looking through pedigrees and come across a bad one, I'll share it, whether is 1820 or 2020.

It's just that it kinda made me laugh. I don't laugh at some of the cringeworthy horse names.

Odd thing, too....'LH' is what grandpa called grandma.... :o

Oh I love Itchy Feet, I think it's a cute name for a jumper. He sprang a bit of a surprise last time out, but him vs. Faugheen in the Peter Marsh should be a great race.
