Marlinka, the dam of Marsha and Judical died from colic at age 12. Her foal by Showcasing couldn't be saved either.

Two harness racing trainers, John Brennan and Carmine Fusco, of coronavirus. Decimated Fusco’s family, too. Heartbreaking.

Lexington Rose (Captain Gerrard) died March 13, 2020 after foaling a large colt by Massatt. The colt survived and is being raised by a mare that can apparently raise 2 foals.

Damn it. I guess the 'one too many' mindset applies to foals as well as races. Glad the foal survived at least. RIP Tizso.

She`s the mare that went through the Keeneland January sale. The farm that bought her wanted to pension her to make sure she wasn't bred again.

War Emblem necropsy determines that he died of a small tear in in his small intestine causing it to rupture. Poor old boy.

Very sad about War Emblem - they said it was very uncommon for something like this to happen. But sounds like there is nothing they could have done even if they had been with him when it happened

Sorry to hear this news. Had a chance to see him a couple of times in the summer of 2008 at Monmouth. Decent horse.

RIP Honest Man. A long way from home.
