Hayayakko (King Kamehameha) was second in the Sobu Stakes at Nakayama. Also, I learned that "Hayayakko" (or Hiyayakko) is a type of tofu dish, so that's why he's named that.

I was looking through WinBak Farm's foal photos this morning and there's been quite a few kiddos with interesting markings. These are standardbreds, not thoroughbreds, but wanna share anyway. They've also had several with "Roman faces."

Ooooh, thanks for sharing this! I've gotten really into Arabians since I started doing endurance four years ago. :)

He's very pretty! I wonder if any further tests were conducted on him, since he's a genetic anomaly.

He has his own Facebook page!

CLARENCE STEWART was the first-ever registered white male Thoroughbred, and how exciting he was to fans and photographers!

A son of 'regular' colored parents, Thomasville-Brimstar, Clarence was born in 1977. He broke his maiden in 1981.

Leon Star was proud breeder/owner.

Tosen Cookie was a "credible" 5th in his first start today on dirt (NAR circuit).

Aww, I've been following him since he was a foal -- didn't realize he had made his debut!
